Very nice little robot! Really quite impressive for the price, and I'm glad I got it. It came packaged well and works perfectly. It comes with a remote that has lots of fun options. You can control the direction, make him glide or walk, turn, rotate, he can dance, etc. The movements are surprisingly smooth and the robot is incredibly responsive to the remote. He's really quite adorable.
The audio is overall really nice. It isn't annoying (you know how kid toys can be). You can control the volume from the remote, which is a huge bonus. The dialogue isn't always easy to understand, but the voice itself is good. The music and the robot sounds are cute. Basically, you won't be miserable if your kid plays with this for hours like mine did.
It's also very user friendly, my 6 year old picked it right up and had a blast. He loves that the arms are articulating and that the eyes light up. It's easy to control and kept him engaged for quite a long time. My 2 year old was also delighted with it. She liked watching it move and it's working on figuring out the remote. The 8 year olds played with him and liked him, but it didn't keep them engaged for long. Probably best geared for the under 8 crowd.

My four kids love this robot! We have had it a few days and it does everything it says it will on the box. When we first turned it on the robot did a demo showing us all the neat things it can do. It will say different sayings, spin and turn withe ease, play a few different songs, and has a sensor in the front that helps it know when something is in its way. We event tried it on our carpet, and I didn't think it would go but it did! Our carpet isn't way long and it moves a little slower on it. The remote controller works great and you can control where it goes around. There is also a way to program up to 50 moves for it to do, then it will repeat the moves. My kids think the "Patrol" button is great, it will go around the room by itself. I like that there is a volume control so it doesn't have to be too loud. Another way to have the robot move is by moving your hand in front of the middle of its body where there is a sensor. By waving my hand in different directions it will either go forward, back, or turn. Overall, I have been very impressed! You will need a couple double A batteries for the remote. It also comes with a charging usb cord that you could plug into a computer or a wall charger.

We have 3 boys ages 8, 3 and 2 and they absolutely LOVED this robot! They had a little dance party with the robot and everyone had to take a turn using the remote control. Perfect for my 8 yr old, even the 3 yr old could figure out the buttons on the remote and had a ball with it. My 2 yr old mostly just wanted to dance around with it and giggle. What I loved most was that it worked right out of the box! We just needed the batteries for the remote- 2AA which we always have in hand. Pushed the power button and it worked right away. I was worried that it wouldn’t roll around on our carpet very well but it did great walking, sliding and dancing around. The voice of the robot was easy to understand and clear. I liked that the buttons on the remote had written what each one was for -dance, music, patrol, etc. Comes with a USB charging cable for the robot. My boys played with it for a solid 30-45minutes before it told us that it’s battery was running low and then turned off. It was just the right amount of time for my boys to play with and keep their attention and still want to play with it later. Would definitely recommend this as a gift for a boy or girl.
